Dorothy M. Bertagnolli, nee Bahn, 96, of Highland, Ind., formerly of Staunton, Ill., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Bahn of Staunton. She married Bruno Bertagnolli, and he preceded her in death.

Her motto in life was “Faith, Family and Friends.” She attended Webster College in St. Louis, Mo., taught at St. Mary’s in Griffith and then assisted Dr. Joseph Siekierski.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Mary) Bertagnolli, Linda (Terry) Williams, Deborah (Larry) Bryan;grandchildren, Anthony (Susanne) Williams, Katherine (Joseph) Rottman; and great-grandsons, Joseph and William Rottman. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Owen, Pat Goehe; and brothers, Joseph Bahn and Gene Bahn.

Funeral services were private.
