St. Michael’s parish in Staunton will host their Chicken Dinner and Country Store from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish gymnasium, 419 E. Main Street in Staunton on Sunday, Oct. 2.

The dinner menu includes one-half fried chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, applesauce, bread and butter and pie. All the dinners will be served as carry-outs and the cost is $15.

The Country Store promises a selection of baked goods, jellies and jams, along with garden produce, and potted plants. There will also be craft items such as candles, jewelry, miscellaneous items for your kitchen and home, plus a selection of fall, Halloween and Christmas decorations. You are invited to browse the Country Store. You never know what treasure you might find there.
