The flags fly high as the SHS Color Guard heads up the Bulldog Marching Band during the Homecoming Parade on Friday afternoon.

The parade was part of a week of Homecoming festivi- ties that began with the play and crowning of SHS Homecoming Queen Samantha Schnefke and Homecoming King Joseph Best.

Spirit Week included dress- up days (Adam Sandler Day, Jersey Day, Letter Day, Celeb- rity Day and Red and White Day/Toga Day) plus decorating the hallways of the school.

There was a full schedule for Friday with the annual Powder Puff football game between junior and senior girls and a pep assembly that preceded the parade. The week-long celebra- tion was highlighted by the Homecoming football game on Friday night with the Bulldogs facing the Carlinville Cavaliers. The Homecoming dance at Timber Lakes Golf Course on Saturday night topped off the students' week of fun activities.

Banner day Representatives from each Staunton High School class marched with their banner in the SHS Homecoming Parade on Friday afternoon.
