The Livingston Park As- sociation (LPA) is looking for businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in its upcoming Trunk or Treat. The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, at Veterans Memorial Park in Livingston.

Anyone who wants to partic- ipate with a decorated vehicle and pass out treats to children who attend is asked to pre-reg- ister by Oct. 9. This will help with planning and appropri- ately spacing out participants that day. Please register on the LPA’s Facebook page using the “Sign Up” near the top right side of the page. Participants should plan to be at the park by 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 to find their assigned parking spots.

The LPA will also be col- lecting non-perishable food to use in the holiday food baskets in the Livingston/Williamson community at the Trunk or Treat. Those attending are en- couraged to help “cram the cof- fins” with their food donations. All contributions are welcome, but Thanksgiving-related items (canned pumpkin, cranberries, stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and evaporated milk) will be great- ly appreciated.
