Virgil L. Jones, Jr., 56, of Staunton, Ill., died at his residence on Sunday, Sept. 4. He was born Oct. 15, 1965, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Victoria Mae (Euler) Jones and the late Virgil Leo Jones.

Virgil worked as a laborer. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 to 1986.

He is survived by his mother, Victoria Jones of Staunton; and his brother, David Jones of Staunton.
