The Staunton High School boys golf team defeated Greenville 158 - 184 in a match at Timber Lakes on Monday, Aug. 29.

Preston Denney was match medalist with his round of 35 on the par 36 course. Other Staunton scores were Broc Best 37, Luke Goldasich 43, Luke Meyer and Adam Overby both shot 44s.

This match improved the team’s season record to 11-2.
