Charlene J. Keffer, 83, of Wilsonville, Ill., died at her residence on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022. She was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Alton, to Elroy and Alva (Graf) Lamparter. She married Robert Keffer. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2001.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Karen) Keffer of Mansfield, Texas, Robert (Sandy) Keffer of Dayton, Ohio, Ronnie (Tammy) Keffer of Wilsonville, Larry Keffer of Wilsonville, Michelle (Jim) Cunningham of Mt. Olive; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and husband; grandchildren, Robert Keffer, Jr, Stacey Keffer; and brother, George Lamparter.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral services follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Staunton.
