Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

It was another beautiful day for golfing for the Staunton Country Club Women's Thursday League. We are loving this cooler weather. The team of Bev Kramer, Martha Riley and Kathryn Young had a good game. The low gross was 40; they had low putts of 10 and a chip-in on #6. The low net was the team of Gloria Paolino and Rosemarie Pickerill. Golf continues to start at 9 a.m. Flag Day is scheduled for Sept. 15; and should it rain, we will hold it on the 22nd. It is always a lot of fun with special games and prizes.
