Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The Litchfield boys golf team won the match played Aug. 19 at Timber Lakes with a team score of 149. Staunton finished 2nd with 156 followed by Auburn 182, Gillespie 190, and Mt. Olive 212.

Preston Denney of Staunton was match medalist with a 2-under 34 on the par 36 course. Staunton’s other team scores were Broc Best 39, Adam Overby 41, and Bryce Coalson 42. Also playing for Staunton, Luke DeWitt and Luke Meyer.

Tug Schwab was team medalist for Litchfield with a par 36.
