Mary V. Bartulis, 93, of Benld, Ill., died peacefully on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022. Mary was born on July 17, 1929, to Edward and Viola Klocke of Gillespie. She married August C. “Junie” Bartulis on July 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death.

Mary was a kind, loving woman who enjoyed being with her family and friends and never turned down the opportunity to dance.

She is survived by her daughters, Gaye of Chicago, Lisa of Springfield; and her granddaughter, Sierra of Springfield. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Junie; and her brother, George Klocke.

A visitation was held on Thursday, Aug. 18, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Interment was private.
