In the Staunton County Club Ladies Golf League, the team of Cynthia Albrecht Tipler, Barb Augustine and Martha Riley had a great game Thursday. They had low gross score, tied for low putts and also had a chip on #6. Deb McNaughton, Gloria Paolino and Rosemarie Pickerill had the low net score. Team of Denise Hemphill, Linda Rohe and Kathryn Young tied for low putts and also had a team birdie on #3.

Cynthia Albrecht Tipler played her last game with us this summer as she returns to her teaching job. We'll miss Cynthia, she brings a lot to the game. Our Flag Day has been set for Sept. 15. Should it rain, we will move to the 22nd. We continue teeing off at 9 a.m. during August. We would also like to thank all those that worked on taking care of the bridge. The women really appreciate it.
