The check is a donation to the shelter following our recent dog and cat adoption pages featuring animals up for adoption at the Benld shelter. Forty-one businesses and individuals sponsored dogs and cats at Adopt-A-Pet, and a picture and information on each one was in the July 27 issue of the Star-Times newspaper.
