The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that both east and westbound I-64 between IL 4 and Albers Road in St. Clair County will be restricted to one lane in each direction beginning Aug. 4, weather permitting. This work will require the placement of a temporary barrier wall and is necessary to complete bridge repairs. This work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2022.
