Livingston-Williamson Fire Department Captain Gene Coe was in charge of a training session for fire fighters in late July. They did a live burn out at the Shale Lake Winery. Other participants were Hamel Community Fire Protection District, Worden Volunteer Fire Department, New Douglas Volunteer Fire Department, Alhambra Fire Department, and Staunton Area Ambulance Service.
