The new Main Street mural on the 400 block of West Main Street evokes a bright summer day with the sun's rays extending the entire width of the concrete wall shining down on an abundance of flowers. It's on the property of Mullins and Mayfield's Landscaping.

The work was led by Laura Blair of Blair Lair Studios in Alton. Laura was assisted by Chris Best, Kyle Taylor, Robin Berry, Bethany Nixon, M. Sue Stiegemeier, Paul Berg, Pat Daugherty, Phoebe and Mindy Savant and many more artists.  Colten Mayfield is pictured at left putting the finishing touches on the mural.
