Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

At a special school board meeting on Thursday, July 7, the Staunton Board of Education employed Rachel Davis to serve as the elementary school principal, effective immediately.

Superintendent Brett Allen stated, "Mrs. Davis brings a wealth of elementary experience to Staunton and her skill sets in communication and instructional leadership make her a key asset to the administrative team. I'm thrilled to work with her and assist in positively impacting our students, families, and staff at the elementary level."

Davis is joining Staunton schools after serving as an elementary and intermediate teacher in both the Hazelwood and Granite City school districts.

"I am beyond excited to be joining the administrative team in Staunton," Davis said. "I can't wait to meet all of our wonderful students, families, and staff members. We're going to have a great year learning and growing together!"
