Cahokia Creek Dirt Riders to host Kids Day/Riding Skills Day

Whether you are just starting out on a 50cc, like the youngsters above, or if you're an adult wanting to get outside a little more, White City will be the place to be on July 10. The Cahokia Creek Dirt Riders will be having a Kids Day/Riding Skills Day that Sunday, with instruction available for inexperienced riders of all ages.

The Cahokia Creek Dirt Riders off-road motorcycle club will be having a Kids Day/Riding Skills Day on Sunday, July 10, at 9 a.m. on the club grounds in White City.

The event, sponsored by Niehaus Cycle Sales, Action Powersports and Hall's Cycles, is for motorcycles only and is a judgement free day of instruction and skill development tailored for beginner and low-time riders. Men and women of all ages are welcome.

Riders are required to bring a helmet, riding pants or blue jeans, leather boots, a motorcycle stand and a properly running motorcycle, with basic tools for a motorcycle setup also suggested. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and parents are encouraged to bring their motorcycles if possible.

Lunch will be provided by the sponsors of the event and cooked by club members. Space is limited for the Kids Day/Riding Skills Day and advanced registration is recommended.
