Community Memorial Hospital opened a new medical office in Livingston. Livingston Family Practice was staffed by Dr. Deters, Dr. Jain and Sheri Banovic, CNP.
A son was born to Michael and Jennifer Rekart of Staunton on June 5 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
Wendy Lamb, formerly of Worden, and Randy Wilson were married April 19 in Belleville.
Keely Best and Troy Redfern were married Sept. 14, 1996, in Staunton.
George and Kris Przymuzala celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on June 10.
Carl and Eleanor (Braido) Stemploski of Staunton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14.
John Augustine Jr. (95) of Livingston died June 16 at Heritage Manor in Staunton.
Elveta Mae Schaefer (70) of Worden died June 11 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Nellie J. Rummer (86) of Gillespie died June 15 at her home.
Gerald Rodney Cruthis (50) of Litchfield died June 13 in Sorento.
Alpha E. Fritzsche (83) of Mt. Olive died June 9 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

The FBI, Alton police and Staunton police arrested John Wayne Beck, 40, in Alton on June 14.
A woman was killed in a head-on crash on Route 4 north of Staunton near the country club. Elizabeth A. Kaburick, age 68, of Carlinville was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Gillespie girl, Alisha Nelon, age 17, was killed in a roll-over crash on Great River Road in Jersey County on June 14.
A son was born to Libby Weber and husband Brett on May 22.
Dave and Judy Roberson of Prairietown will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on June 24.
Walter and Viola Butler of New Douglas celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 18.
