The Staunton High School Concert Choir returned from their five-day tour to Indianapolis, Ind., and Cleveland, Ohio, where they toured the area and performed at several locations.

The Village of Worden is set to celebrate their Zip code day on 6-20-97 with food, drinks, crafts and special entertainment.

Francis and Violet Windisch of Staunton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21.

Pete Moros (75) of Staunton died June 8 at Community Memorial Hospital.

Esther I. Sievers (86) of New Douglas died June 4 at the family home.

Shirley Josephine Bollman (58) of Mt. Olive died June 7 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Issue of June 13, 2007

The Staunton High School Band returned from their trip to New York City where they visited many places of interest.

A Staunton man, Steven Pesavento, was arrested for two residential burglaries. The burglaries and arrest took place on June 5.


Alco announced that their new store in Staunton will open in September rather than August.

Miki Lynn Albright and Christopher Wieneke-Moore were married April 28 in Staunton.

Carmen and Edwin Sievers, Jr., of rural Worden will celebrate their 50th anniversary on June 23.
