The Staunton girls softball team season came to an end Monday, May 23, when the Lady Bulldogs lost to Newton at the Vandalia Regional.
Sta. 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 = 3
New 2 - 3 - 1 - 3 - 0 - 0 - x = 9
Scoring for Staunton were Evin Frank,Whitney Weller and Savannah Billings. Hits/RBIs were byFrank1/0, Weller 2/2, Billings 1/1, and Taylor Nolan 2/0.
Coach Lucykow and the LadyBulldogs had a very successful season before being eliminated in state playoff competition and ended the year with an impressive 17-4 record....
