Gloria Margaret Warford Pizzi, 96, of Benld, Ill., died at Heritage Health in Gillespie on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was born Feb. 26, 1926, in Nebo to Charles and Faye (Gregory) Niebrand. She married Jackson Warford in Chicago in 1947. Jackson preceded her in death in 1971. She later married Anthony Pizzi who preceded her in death in 2001.

She was a retired registered nurse for St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

She is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey (Pam) Warford of Gillespie, James (Linda) Warford of Hanford, Calif., Joel (Lola) Warford of Benld; seven grandchildren, Amanda Warford, Kenneth Warford, David Warford, Stacie Streeter, Nicole Eichen, Laura Campbell, Anthony Warford; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Virginia Niebrand. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; son, Jay Matthew Warford; two brothers, Frank Niebrand, Billy Niebrand; five sisters, Ann Bauer, Idell Fredericks, Bernice Brummer, Charline Brummer and Geraldine Hedges.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 31, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill with Rev. Dennis Hill officiating. Burial was at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Bunker Hill.
