McKay NAPA Strut Your Stuff fundraiser

Not many vintage cars were brought out in the heavy rain on May 21 for the Strut Your Stuff cruise-in.

A rainy Saturday couldn't keep the McKay Corporation from its second annual Strut Your Stuff fundraiser for the Illinois chapter of Make-A-Wish on May 21 at Fireman's Park in Staunton.

A bags tournament was part of the activities at the McKay Strut Your Stuff fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Although only a few cars cruised into the event due to the inclement weather, 26 teams joined the fun in the bags tournament. Winners of the bags tournament were Justin Allen and Sunny Shuey in first place, Ben and Kendall Frank in second place and Ryan and Shanna Ocepek third place. Bruce Arnold was the lucky winner of the gun raffle, while Dave Masinelli won the 50/50 drawing, Gina Grebing won the cooler of booze and Bill Stoneburner won the bourbon and charcuterie box.

To date this year, the McKay Corporation has raised $20,000 for the Illinois chapter of Make-A-Wish, with other fundraisers still coming up, including the annual golf outing. Since the beginning, McKay has donated just over $660,000 to Make-A-Wish, and they hope to top $700,000 this year.
