The Macoupin County Track Meet was held Friday, May 6 at Carlinville High School.

In the Men’s Division, Virden (North Mac) took first place with 173 points followed by Carlinville, 139.75; Southwestern, 72.5; Gillespie, 71; Staunton, 70.75; and Bunker Hill, 18.

Drake Dufrain won first place points in both the 110m hurdles (16.23) and 300m hurdles (43.44). Thomas Ogata placed 9th in the 300m hurdles.

In the distance events, Broc Best placed 4th in the 1600 meters and Troy Albertina was 4th in the 3200 meters. Ogata and Michel Brand placed 6th and 11th in the 800 meters.
