Ebling

 

Rebecca Josephine Ebling, 69, of rural New Douglas, Ill., died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was born on Nov. 25, 1952, in Granite City, the daughter of Carl and Mattie (Fisher) Ebling. She married James Randall Page, and they later divorced.

Rebecca was a secretary for the United States Attorney's Office for 25 years. She last worked at the Fairview Heights location. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Granite City. Rebecca took on the role of a single parent from the time her oldest son was 12 years old. Her life revolved around her three sons and her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking with the grandkids. She also took on sewing projects and taught family members how to sew.

Rebecca is survived by her three sons, Chris (Nicole) Page of Livingston, Tim Page of Staunton, Ryan Page of New Douglas; six grandchildren, Isaac Page, Caleb Page, Bailey Page, Jacob Page, Nathan Page, and Anna Page; a sister, Arlene (Jim) Peterson; a brother, Dave Ebling; and her former husband, James Page of Raymond. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Delores Meade.

Funeral services for Rebecca Ebling were held on Saturday, May 7, at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Nancy Hubert, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Salem Cemetery located near Alhambra.
