The Lady Bulldogs enjoyed a 9-0 win over East Alton/Wood River on Monday, April 25. Staunton goals were scored by Danielle Russell 1, Lily Bruhn 4, Brooke Kinder 2, Breanna Feeley 1 and Haris Legendre 1. Assists were by Lexi Pfeiffer 3, Legendre 2, Russell and Ali Fritz 1 ea.

Valeria Cazares was the Staunton goalie. Her team only allowed 1 shot on goal which she saved for the shutout win.

Last week they ran into some stiff competition and lost the next three games.

On April 26, Staunton lost to Southwestern 0-3. The Lady Bulldogs were able to get 13 shots on goal but the Southwestern goalie was able to protect her net to get the shutout win. Valeria Cazares was goalie for the entire game. She faced 17 shots on goal, made 14 saves and allowed 3 goals.

On April 27, the girls traveled to Carlinville. While they were not shut-out, they lost the match 1-7. Individual stats were not available

On April 28, the girls played Greenville. The Comets won this game 3-0. Haris Legendre was in the Staunton goal for the entire game. She faced 14 shots on goal, made 11 saves and allowed 3 goals.

The girls were scheduled to play Father McGivney on Friday, April 29; at Pana on May 2, at Wesclin (Trenton) May 5 and scheduled to play Greenville in the playoffs on May 10.
