The monthly meeting of the Macoupin County Historical Society will be held Monday, May 2nd, at 7 p.m. in the Ruyle Building on the Historical grounds in Carlinville, IL. The speaker for this month is Larry Mahan who will be sharing the story of Edmund Vancil and Vancil Point. The meeting is open to the public and the Ruyle Building is handicapped accessible.
