The Staunton High School Lady Bulldogs softball team defeated Pawnee 15-0 in a 5- inning game on Saturday, April 2.

Runs were scored by Savannah Billings 3, Kylie Lucykow 2, Evin Frank 1, Ele Feldmann 1, Lilly Bandy 2, Whitney Weller 1, Korryn Keehner 1, Taylor Nolan 2, and Koral Keehner 2.

RBIs were credited to Billings 2, Bandy 2, Weller 3, Korryn Keehner 4, and Nolan, Frank, and Feldmann 1 each.

Ele Feldman pitched all 5 innings. She struck out 4, walked 1, gave up 0 runs and 0 hits.

On April 4 the Lady Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker to Carlinville 6-7 in 10 innings.

Staunton runs were scored by Lilly Troeckler 1, Feldmann,1, Weller 2, Billings 1, and Nolan 1. RBIs were credited to Frank 1, Feldmann 2, Korryn Keehner 1, and Koral Keehner 1.

Gianna Bianco pitched 4 innings. She struck out 1, walked 0, gave up 9 hits and 5 runs (2 earned). Billings pitched 6 innings. She struck out 5, walked 1, gave up 3 hits and 2 runs (1 earned).

On April 7, the Lady Bulldogs shut out the Mulberry Grove Aces 5-0.

Savannah Billings pitched 2 innings. She struck out 3, walked 1, gave up 1 hit and 0 runs. Taylor Nolan pitched 5 innings. She struck out 4, walked 5, gave up 3 hits and 0 runs.

Following the Mulberry Grove game the Lady Bulldogs season record stood at 6-2.
