Lions Club egg hunt is Saturday

April 14, 2022

After two years of not being able to host the annual Easter egg hunt/Easter basket raffle, the Staunton Lions Club is back in action.

The Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday, April 16, at the Staunton Fireman's Park. It starts promptly at 11 a.m. and is open to the public and free of charge. Don't be late or you'll miss all the action. Have your little hunters bring their Easter baskets for collecting the eggs and other goodies. The age groups are as follows: 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10. There will be hidden tickets in the eggs for prizes and Easter baskets to be won for the kids. Prizes will be given out after the hunt.

The Lions Club annual Easter basket(s) raffle will be held immediately following the hunt. These baskets are filled with wonderful items donated by local businesses and individuals. So bring your wallet for a chance to win one or two or even three, whatever the case may be. The proceeds from the Easter basket raffle will help defray the cost of candy for next year's hunt. So stick around to claim your prize.
