An Illinois Lottery player from Benld is $800,000 richer after winning the Lucky Day Lotto grand prize in the Monday, March 21, midday drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at TJ’s Food Mart, 205 N. Hardroad in Benld, and matched all five numbers, 3-16-39-42-43, to take home the grand prize.
