Spring musical showcases student talent

Starmites Lite was the spring musical production this year performed by members of the high school and junior high school choirs. The plot has Eleanor dreaming her way into a comic book adventure in Innerspace, where she saves the galaxy in this zingy rock musical. It is Eleanor, Spacepunk, the Starmites and the lizard man against the evil Banshees led by Diva and Shak Graa. The play is a nod to fun loving comic book fans.
The cast featured Aubree Eckhardt as Eleanor/Bizarbara, Isabella Henning as Diva/ Mother, Jack Sigafoos as Spacepunk, and Jonathan Baker as Shak Graa/Trinkulus. The Starmites included Turner Fravell as S'Up S'Up Sensabol, Ethan Tew as Diggety Raz- zledazzle, Jacob Page as Ack Ack Hackerax with Ace Siegfried, Dominic Smith, Logan Odle, Emily Eldred, Lorelei Spudich, Eva Nicholas, Natalya Murphy, Marley Fleming and Heaven Hart rounding out the Starmites. The Banshees were played by Kyli Newcomb as Canibelle, Ava Fernandez as Maligna, Katie Cook as Hollaback, Kendall Sigafoos as Shotzi, with Emma Kolb, Ava-Elaine Hupp, Emily Brummel, Cadence Miller, Kayce Meyers and Raven Stipcak rounding out the Banshees.
The tech crew consisted of Kyleigh Brown - lighting board, Kelley Perrine spotlight, and Lily Pelo and Kai Reeves - sound.
The set crew was made up of Jack Sigafoos, Jonathan Baker, Turner Fravell, Ethan Tew, Lorelei Spudich, Natalya Murphy, Kyli Newcomb, Ava-Elaine Hupp, Kyleigh Brown, Kelly Perrine, and Lily Pelo.
Directors were Laura Hollingsworth and Tabitha Miller; costumes were by Sue Hollingsworth, Laura Hollingsworth and the junior high and high school choirs; extra help with set construction came from John Davin, Noah Partridge and Turner Fravell.
