Joe is the son of Frank and Ana Goss. Throughout his years at Staunton High School, Joe participated in several sports such as football, track and field, and cross country. He also participated in Chess Club and Nerd Club, along with two years on the student council.

Joseph's future plans are to attend a four-year college and double major in mechanical engineering and physics.
