8th grade girls won Sectional Lost in first round at State

The Staunton 8th grade girls volleyball team traveled to Vandalia on Monday, March 14, for a Sectional title match vs. Roxana.
The Staunton girls played one of their most exciting matches of the season. They won the first set 25-21. Then they lost a set, 25-27. The girls came back strong with determination to not be stopped, and they won the third and deciding set 25-12.
This sectional win advanced the 8th grade girls to 8-3A state competition at Pana High School on March 18 and 19.
