Jacklyn Besserman, 74, of Wilsonville, Ill., died at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Mo., on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born May 31, 1947, in St. Louis to John and Pearl (Ellisworth) Kampmann. She married Harold Besserman on June 5, 1965, in St. Louis. He survives.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Eugene Besserman, Sr .; four children, Harold (Tressa) Besserman Jr. of Wilsonville, Tammy (Steve) Kirkpatrick of Hawesville, Ky., Tim (Penny) Besserman of Gillespie, Mark (Christy) Besserman of Wilsonville; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Kampmann, Gary Kampmann; and three sisters, JoAnn Roll, Kristi Runion, and Margaret Sugg. Jacklyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld with Rev. Rocky Runion officiating. Burial was at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olive.
