Petition packets for the upcoming 2022 Primary Election on June 28 had to be filed by March 7. There are no city elections this year, but there are several county seats that will be decided. The voter registration deadline for the primary election is June 1. The general election will be held on Nov. 8.

Democrat Pete Duncan is running unchallenged for Macoupin County Clerk.

For county treasurer, Democrat Roger Anderson and Republican Lillian Amber McGartland are running.
