Kathryn S. (Bain) Westfall, 67, of Litchfield, Ill., died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born Dec. 11, 1954, in Litchfield, to James and Anna Kathryn (Schwab) Bain. She married Jack Westfall on Sept. 12, 1994, in Litchfield, and he survives.

She was a laborer for Schutt Manufacturing. Kathryn loved animals.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Westfall of Litchfield; children, Shad (Dawn) Schoen of Gillespie, Daryl Schoen of Gillespie, Kimberly (Matt) Stowe of Saratoga Springs, Utah; grandchildren, Devon (Kristin) Schoen, Jordan (Alex) Hinsey, Josie Schoen, Noah Schoen; great-grandchildren, Trace, Rory, Celia, Zaide, Kaden, Delilah; and siblings, Nancy Ballew of Gillespie and Jean (George) Holesko of Gillespie. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Joel Schoen, Cale Schoen; and sister, Judith Ann Lovall.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, March 9, at 1 p.m. at Gillespie Cemetery.
