Mental health summit on March 12

February 23, 2022

Cross Over Ministries is holding the first Montgomery County Mental Health Summit titled, Conquering the Mind, to be held Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.

This free summit will include three dynamic speakers: Sam Eaton, Sam Lucania and Andy Raines. These men will share their inspirational stories of how their lives have been impacted by substance use and mental health challenges. They will also share their wellness and recovery journeys. The summit includes a preview of the musical, “The Master’s Peace” that shares a story of grace that changed lives many years ago and still can today. Area mental health resources will also be available with information and to answer questions.

They believe that everyone needs to learn more about mental health and to be able to recognize the signs of depression, anxiety and suicidal ideations. If you or someone you know struggles with substance use, mental health challenges, suicidal thoughts, or grief, this summit can help. For more information and to register go to https://www.crossovernfp.com/2022summit.html or call Cross Over Ministries office at 217-608-0266 and leave a message with your name, address, and number attending.

Drinks, snacks, lunch, attendance prizes, and more will be provided.
