Helen L. Streubel (85) of Godfrey, formerly of Staunton, died at the family home on Feb. 8.

Andrew Joseph Biscan (74) of Mt. Olive died Feb. 5 at Community Memorial Hospital.

Herminia Kay "Mickey" Conkling (77) of Mt. Olive died Feb. 7 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

David Passetti (76) of Benld died Feb. 3 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Samuel Howard Donahue (67) of Sawyerville died Feb. 5 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Minnie Caldieraro (92) of Staunton died Feb. 10 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Staunton.

Virginia Weigel (92) of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Greenville, died Feb. 4 in Palm Harbor.

Issue of Feb. 14, 2007

The main building of Sievers Equipment Co. was a complete loss in a fire that started at about 2 p.m. Friday and burned throughout the afternoon. Twelve fire departments fought the blaze.

Amanda Williams and Jeffery Miles were married March 18, 2006, in Shiloh.
