To You … With Love,

February 16, 2022

Recently, as I go from place to place, following first one path and then another, through a mysterious guardian of soul, I am being reminded of the words of St. Paul in Romans 8 where Paul says to us out of his own faith knowledge, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

As I hear these words again, my mind returns to the first time when I had learned to separate the things life did to me from the things God does for me. It was out of long hours, where life events had fallen hard around my living days and tribulations lay heavy on my back that I began to bend low and learn of how deeply the heart can bleed in those “Cross-Roads.” Many are the paths we journey through unwanted hills, but with the passion of a songbird among the frozen pines, God sends His Word and we may dwell within the safety of his grace. Here I have found and am persuaded there is “nothing in this earth or heaven that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.” When you least expect to meet the mysterious guardian of the soul you may find the way to life, interpreted through a Savior and a baby and a King.
