The Staunton High School girls basketball team defeated the Bunker Hill girls on Tuesday, Feb. 1, by the score of 55 - 26.

The Lady Bulldog game scheduled for Feb. 3 vs. Vandalia was cancelled due to weather. The remainder of their scheduled games are: Feb. 5 at Pawnee; Feb. 7, home vs. Litchfield; and Feb. 10, at Gillespie.

Pairings for Illinois State competition have not been posted yet, but we do know that Staunton is included in the Waverly Sectional, Sub-Sectional A as part of the Beardstown Super-Sectional.
