Temporary restraining order sent Staunton teacher back to the classroom Monday

A temporary restraining order was issued Friday by Sangamon County Circuit Court Judge Raylene Grischow relating to lawsuits filed by parents and teachers regarding mask mandates, exclusion rules when exposed to COVID, and vaccination requirements. Area districts named in the parents' lawsuit include Staunton, Carlinville, and North Mac. Local districts involved in the teacher lawsuit include Staunton and North Mac.

Greenville attorney Thomas DeVore represents the group of parents and teachers from around the state in the lawsuits.
