Bulldogs set to play 10 games in two weeks

SHS varsity boys basketball played two home games last week, hosting the Carlinville Cavaliers and Litchfield Panthers. The Staunton High School boys basketball team is scheduled to finish their 2022 season with 10 games inside of two weeks.

The Bulldogs narrowly defeated Carlinville on Jan. 24, by a score of 38-37.

Staunton 5- 6-10 - 17 = 38

Carlinville. . . 6 -9 - 8 - 14 = 37

On Jan. 25, they lost to Litch-field 40-46; on Jan. 28, lost to Pana 27-46; Jan. 29, lost to Lincolnwood 37-40.

The remainder of their season has them playing Feb. 1 at Mt. Olive, Feb. 2 home vs. Calhoun, Feb. 4 at Vandalia, Feb. 8 home vs. Gillespie and Feb. 11 home vs. Hillsboro.
