Macoupin County States Attorney Jordan Garrison announced last week that a jury had found Caleb J. Prose, age 44, of Girard guilty of burglary at Davis Towing in Carlinville and aggravated battery of Sgt. John McMahon of the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department.

The jury returned their verdict after deliberating for approximately 40 minutes after a two-day trial in front of Judge Joshua Meyer.
