Five Staunton High School winter athletes were recognized for their outstanding performances.

Isabella Henning was recognized for cheerleading. She has been a member of the cheer squad for four years and has served as captain for the last two years.
Layla Hoffman was recog- nized as a standout member of the Red Roses. Freshmen do not normally compete at com- petitions; however, when a spot opened on the competition team, Layla was rewarded for her hard work, growth, and determination and took over the position.
