Geraldine Mae Harvill, 73, of Gillespie, Ill., died at her residence on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022. She was born July 15, 1948, in Bethalto, to John Tucker and Mae (Hauseman) Tucker Adams. She married Earl Harvill, Jr. on Feb. 14, 1967, in Bunker Hill. He survives.

She was retired after working as a sales manager for JC Penney. Geraldine was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crafts and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Harvill of Gillespie; daughter, Anita Harvill of Gillespie; granddaughter, Ashlynn Marie Stephens; and sister, Vanessa (Ron) Baxter of Judsonia, Ark. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Wayne Harvill; sisters, Darlene Vaughn, Linda Kisner; and brother, Clifford Tucker.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 20, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial was at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
