The Dugout in Staunton opened in August of 2021 at 213 West Main Street. The manager was familiar with the area and noticed the renovation of the Staunton Main Street and thought they would be a good fit for our area, with no other close locations with these type of products.
The owner of the store is Kelsey Clark who currently lives in Alton and grew up in the Granite City area. Her husband, Brad Clark, is the manager of the store and he also owns an industrial hemp farm called CMC Farms. Their good friends, Teddy and Shannon Cooper, work in the store.
