Billie Westwood, 93, of Gillespie, Ill., died at Heritage Health of Gillespie on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022. She was born May 5, 1928, in Troy, Mo., to Daniel and Margaret (Ramsour) Hearn. She married John "Ike" Westwood on Feb. 8, 1947, in Mayfield, Ky. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2003.

She was a homemaker. Billie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gillespie.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Pamela) Westwood of San Antonio, Texas; daughter-in-law, Joanne Westwood of Daphne, Ala .; grandchildren, Shawn Westwood, Michelle Dvorak, Jason Kolbe, Daniel Westwood; great-grandchildren, Samantha Dvorak, Daniel Dvorak, Stephen Dvorak, Jadyn Dvorak, Kadence Kolbe, Hudson Kolbe; and sister, Shirley Newby of Carlinville. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Donald Westwood; sisters, Virginia Machir, Helen Van Winkle, Jeanette Hayes, Doris Boatman; and brother, David Hearn.

Private family services will be held.
