To You … With Love,

January 12, 2022

Last summer, as I drove along Route 4, I ran into a heavy rain. I could see in the distance where the skies were clear and the sun was shining. While it was raining hard on me, thank God, others were still in the sunshine. How true this is for our lifetimes. There are those dark cloud hours when the rains pour heavy, and there are those beautiful days when light is flowing everywhere. In the storms which suddenly appear, our focus should be set on the place in the distance where all is well. Throughout our journey as we travel we can travel with hope for the brighter day and ever reach our hands toward the light.

I don’t know just why this thought of that summer day came to me. I am glad it did in the beginning moments of this New Year,

God has a way of centering us on the sunshine ahead. Alleluia!
