• Jason L. Morgan, 33, of Carlinville, faces a felony charge of aggravated battery after allegedly spitting on a peace officer’s face on Saturday, Dec. 25.

• Luke T. Robinson, 58, of Springfield, faces felony charges of burglary and retail theft after allegedly taking alcohol on Friday, Dec. 24, in Carlinville.

• Cory J. Edge, 32, of Palmyra, faces a felony charge of aggravated battery after allegedly punching a peace officer in the face on Friday, Dec. 24.

• Jayden M. Harper, 27, of Medora, faces felony charges of burglary and theft after allegedly entering a building and taking a drill and saw on Sunday, Dec. 26, in Medora.

• Terry L. Sloan, 32, of Girard, faces three felony charges of burglary and one felony charge of theft after allegedly entering a building in Girard and taking copper wiring on Oct. 25, Oct. 26, and Oct. 28.

• Richard W. Wilson, 38, of Litchfield, faces a felony charge of possession of burglary tools, being pry bars, bolt cutters and a file on Thursday, Dec. 30.

• Clark J. Coleman, 35, of Homer, faces a felony charge of unlawful possession of meth on Sept. 7.

• Ashlyn N. Hrabak, 24, of Taylorville, faces a felony charge of possession of meth on or about Oct. 16.

• Bryan E. VanMeter, 37, of Litchfield, faces a felony charge of possession of meth on or about Oct. 16.

• Patrick M. Nejmanowski, 55, of Carlinville, faces a felony charge of driving while license revoked on or about Wednesday, Dec. 1.

• Adam J. Bridges, 38, of West Alton, Mo., was charged with violation of an order of protection after allegedly leaving a voicemail to the protected party on Thursday, Dec. 23.

• Chase R. Taughert, 27, of Carlinville, was charged with obstructing a peace officer after allegedly running away on Thursday, Dec. 23.

• James C. Blum, 54, of Mt. Olive, was charged with violation of an order of protection after allegedly visiting a protected location on Tuesday, Dec. 28.

• Terry L. Cope, 30, of Alton, was charged with violation of an order of protection after allegedly coming within 500 ft. of a protected party and battery after allegedly striking an individual in the face on or about Friday, Dec. 24.

DUI

• Edward L. Goodson, 65, of Staunton, was cited for driving under the influence at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, on 2nd Street at Dorsey Road in Gillespie Township.
