Mary Linda Morey, 77, of Bunker Hill, Ill., died at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. She was born Aug. 15, 1944, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Golda (Hampton) Withrow. She married John Leroy Morey on June 16, 1963, in Alton, and he preceded her in death.

She was a home health caregiver. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three sons, Eric (Shauna) Morey of Bunker Hill, Darrell Morey of Bunker Hill, David Morey of Bunker Hill; two daughters, Melinda Stauffer of Brighton, Wanda Lucas of Bunker Hill; seven grandchildren, Cody (Roxanne) Stauffer, Casey Stauffer, Whitney (Richard) Wiley, Amanda (David) Janes, Brandi (Craig) Womack, Caitlin Morey, Chelsea Morey, Ryan Morey; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Mac Withrow of Wood River; former son-in-law, William Joseph Lucas; and special friends, Ken Choat and Mike West.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill with Pastor James Hooker officiating. Burial was at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
