On Tuesday, Dec. 21, the SHS basketball team finally had their home opener by hosting a game vs. Carrollton. The Bulldogs fought hard but took the loss 57 - 41.

Carrollton ..13 - 14 - 18 - 12 = 57

Staunton ...10 - 8 - 11 - 12 = 41

This week, the Bulldogs are competing in the Carlinville Holiday Tournament. Today (Wed.), Dec. 29, they are scheduled to play Gillespie at 3 p.m. The final (position) round of the Round Robin tournament will be played tomorrow (Thursday), Dec. 30, with the championship game starting at 7:30 p.m.
